you have a litany of literary agencies in new york city if you want to be a professional reader and i know you already know this it’s polish your resume and work your way up to penguin … you could put together a portfolio of the books you read and write how you professionally feel about the books you read … what you have read would be good material for a portfolio to get you a reading job
