I am not a back sleeper but for two months I slept like a corpse. On my back, arms crossed. If I needed to change things up maybe I would cross my legs at the ankles. It came surprisingly naturally to me. Maybe because I was so tired or maybe because we somehow find a way to do the things we have to do.
Well, in very exciting news I’ve been sleeping on my side again. It is comfortable, not painful! and oh so sweet. But strangely I’ve been sleeping like crap. I wake up all the time and every time I try a new sleeping position but it doesn’t help me fall asleep any faster. I squirm until the sun comes up.
Maybe I’m overcompensating–moving around too much just because I can? Or maybe it’s hard to change even when it’s just going back to the way things were.
