There is a man who lives in Brunswick Maine named Mitt. He works at a diner there. And sometimes he gives out free breakfast and coffee to people on long bike tours. Mitt rides his bike a lot, too. Once he rode it across the country and he says it’s the best thing he ever did.
He says that it took him a while to actually start the cross-country trip. He kept trying to save money for it but things kept happening–bills, debts, repairs–and he could never save enough. And then he decided that if he kept waiting to save he would never go. So he went, with two hundred and some dollars to his name. And he made it to California. And then he came back to Maine where he works in a diner and gives out free breakfast when he can.
